Printify is a print on demand app that lets you print artwork directly onto a whole range of items so that you can create your own custom products.
Printify handles the order fulfilment for you.
When a customer orders one of your products Printify will produce the custom item and ship it directly to the customer.
The reason why I’m a huge fan of Printify is that it has a big selection of unique items to print onto including wall clocks travel mugs water bottles and different types of jewellery, all the which often have higher conversions then the standard T-shirts.
#2. Pillow Profits
Pillow Profits is another print on demand Shopify app. While pillow profit sells a lot of items including pillow covers like the name would suggest, pillow profits really shines when it comes to its footwear.
It has a huge selection of custom shoes that you can create and sell.
#3. Facebook Chat
It is absolutely free! Everybody loves things that are free. This app installs a live chat service to your store that is handled by Facebook Messenger.
This makes it super convenient for both customers to contact you and you to answer them. From what I’ve seen, customers prefer a live chat service that is managed by third-party social check application like Facebook Messenger.
#4. Lucky orange
Lucky orange is a heat map for Shopify with a free 7-Day trial. A heat map is a very handy tool for conversions. It visually shows you which buttons users click the most and what parts of your websites that users have had their cursor hover over.
Where someone’s cursor sits is usually very close to where they’re actually looking so you can use Lucky Orange to see how users are interacting with your store.
Are they looking at your countdown timer or do they ignore it?
Which images do they click the most in your image gallery?
You can use lucky orange to help optimize your store for conversions.
#5. Shopzie
Shopzie is an amazing dropshipping app that does Oberlo does, as in, semi-automate an AliExpress dropshipping store. It has the same features as a Oberlo.
However, what it does do that Oberlo doesn’t do, is give you cashback every single time that you dropship an item.
You see what a lot of people don’t know is that AliExpress has an affiliate program. What Shopzie does is it connects with this affiliate program to automatically give you up to 10% of your money back per order.
So, if you’ve got a store making consistent sales, this app will more than pay for itself.
#6. FAQ by POWr
By using this app instead of having a standard FAQ page with a wall of text, you can create a great looking drop down questions and answers page like the one below.
#7. Ultimate Sales Boost
This is one of the most popular Shopify apps. Scarcity is an important factor in getting customers to buy from you without price checking against other sites like Amazon. Ultimate Sales boost adds a lot of scarcity features to your store
Using it you can add a free shipping countdown timer. You can add a limited quantity bar along with bonus credit card trust icons, and you can turn on a checkout countdown timer and add a sales countdown timers to your product images and category pages.
#8. Subscriptions By ReCharge
If you’ve ever wanted to create your own monthly subscription service like the Dollar Shave Club, then this app is for you. Getting customers to purchase a recurring subscription of an item from you can be an incredible way to build passive income and sales.
#9. Free Persistent Cart App
This is a simple but nice app for conversions, when installed it will remember what a customer added to the cart. So, let’s say the customer comes to your store and they add a T-shirt to the cart, but then they leave.
If they come back, this app will remember their order and have it there waiting for them. It’ll even remember it across different devices like phones and laptops.
#10. Printful
Printful is the best app for custom clothing. You can create tons of custom clothing including T-shirts, Hoodies, Leggings, Tank tops, dresses and more.
#11. Plugin SEO
If you want to drive traffic to your store then you should definitely check out this app. Search engine traffic can be a great way to drive free buyers and sales to your Shopify store.
When you install plugin SEO it will scan your website and give you a report, telling you what you are doing right in your store to attract search engine traffic and what SEO mistakes you are making that you need to fix. It will then tell you what is wrong specifically so that you can fix it.
#12. SEO Manager
If you’re willing to spend money on your SEO app – SEO manager is a fantastic Premium app check. This app will analyze your Shopify store for SEO mistakes.
Where it differs is that instead of just telling you to, say add a title tag into your site, it will actually give you a text box so that you can fill this in and fix it immediately.
#13. Oberlo
The app to semi-automate AliExpress dropshipping and still one of the best. Oberlo was actually purchased by Shopify. Because of the fact that it’s run and managed by Shopify, it integrates like a dream and it’s basically glitch-free.
Just like Shopzie, Oberlo makes it super easy to import products directly from AliExpress into your Shopify store to sell. It will also see me automate the drop shipping fulfilment process, making it easy and fast to buy items from AliExpress and get them shipped directly to your customers.
It’s worth mentioning that there are some valid oberlo alternatives , such as DSers and Dropified.
#14. Tidio
Tidio is a great live chat solution if you don’t want to use Facebook Messenger to communicate with your customers. Adding a live chat system is a proven way to increase sales by answering objectives that are stopping customers from buying from you.
#15. Jivo Live Chat
Jivo is another live chat app to consider and it has one major advantage for certain stores. Jivo Live Chat is designed to encourage customers to not just message you but to call you.
If you’re running a store that sells small items then it’s probably not worth it for customers to call you to close a sale. But if you’re running a store that sells expensive high ticket items, then this is a great app to encourage customers to give you a call, so that you can close that sale.
