You buy a car based on criteria like make, make, model, year and price to get the right car for your needs. Check out the whole car yourself. If you don't have experience in this, ask someone you know who knows about the car to come check it out, it's even safer to take the car to a repair and maintenance center for a more accurate inspection. Some other notes when checking the car:
- Always inspect the vehicle during the day to avoid missing dents, scratches, rust and other details.
- Check under the car, bonnet and interior for rust or traces such as weld marks, which indicate that the car has been rebuilt after the accident.
- Check under the hood for traces of engine oil leakage. Check the amount of oil in the engine, if the amount of oil in the engine is low, it means that the car is not well maintained by the seller.
- Check the oil filter cap for white foreign matter. If so, it is a sign that the engine gasket is broken, and you will lose a lot of money with this disease if you buy this car.
- Check tires: wear, tire pressure...
- Check that the distances between the serial parts on the vehicle body are even. Otherwise, the vehicle may have been in an accident and been refurbished.
- Carefully inspect seat belts, steering wheel, instrument panel and function keys.
- Start the car when the engine is cold. This helps you to spot problems like the car having difficulty starting or having a lot of smoke when starting the car.
