My name is Baruti M. Kamau (formerly Parrish R. Jones). I'm new here and will proceed to introduce myself to the community. I'm a writer and a published poet. I'm known for championing the voice of African American youth and young adults via Barutiwa Newspaper (1992-1999). I'm also the owner of Barutiwa News Online, a news site endeavoring to present citizen journalism from a African American perspective. I'm divorced and a father of 3 sons. I'm currently studying methods and techniques to drive 1,000,000 unique organic visitors to any site within 7 days.
