Sources for the crypto vertical: where to pour traffic from?

Recommended Posts

Crypto is one of the most profitable verticals if you know where to get traffic from. Newbies, and not only, often go to FB, target businessmen, successful people, forget about age restrictions, and then wonder about the negative conversion. In this article, we will tell you which sources to use for crypto offers and which ones to avoid - at least without specific knowledge and ready-made databases.

Let's go from the worst to the best. Starting with 👇🏻

Push and teaser

This is one of the weakest sources for financial offers. Of course, there are some advantages:

  • the opportunity to get good traffic;
  • large volumes;
  • a good selection of GEOs.

But all these 'advantages' are outweighed by a SIGNIFICANT downside - low conversion rates. Webmasters need to have their own push databases to extract enough leads from here to cover the costs. The same goes for email campaigns.

They are very effective if you have a GOOD email list. Without this, the conversion rate will be close to zero.

The good old FB

This is where all the newcomers go. Apart from intense competition, there's tough moderation, constant bans on launched ad campaigns, and problems with account farming.

If you don't utilize others' experiences and don't heed advice in this social network, the conversion rate in crypto will be very low. You can obtain such experiences in our affiliate program AltairLabs. Submit an application and we'll get in touch with you.

Often, webmasters think that running FB ads for financial offers simply involves targeting a mature audience. This is a fatal mistake.

In crypto, it's important to 'play' with targeting. For each offer, you need to search for the target audience by cities, sometimes exclude villages, set specific interests, and test creatives.

The vertical that includes Forex, trading, and investment offers provides a higher return on investment, so the approach should be appropriate.

Next, let's move on to good sources for traffic arbitrage, instead of dwelling on the gloomy side of things.

LinkedIn

The first thing to note is that it bills excellently. Any webmaster can pull this off. You just need to farm an account or obtain it through any other method.

Second, the traffic quality here is very high. Especially if the call center, like in AltairLabs, knows how to handle it.

LinkedIn is not only a social network but also a place to search for jobs. That's why the targeting here is more flexible, and with the right settings, the conversion rate will be high.

Google - search and YouTube

Let's start with the search engine. This is one of the coolest sources of traffic. Let's dispel any thoughts about easy setup and passing moderation right away. Pushing ads for key queries like 'Investments,' 'Where to invest money,' and the like will be, to put it mildly, challenging. However, those who can pull it off will achieve an ROI of about 500%.

Now let's talk about YouTube. The main feature is that it allows you to use long videos for creatives. These can range from 30 seconds to 5 minutes or even half an hour. What does this give us? Well, when a potential customer watches your creative for 5-10 minutes, they will be sufficiently engaged. This leads to a high conversion rate.

Another advantage of YouTube is that you can buy ads directly from bloggers. In this case, there's no need for moderation, but you have to choose the channel correctly to reach the target audience and calculate the cost of such integration properly.

What other sources of traffic should be used for crypto offers?

Now let's touch on a few less obvious platforms with potential clients for crypto:

  • Bing – an equivalent alternative to Google with a similar interface;
  • TikTok – now moderation has become easier, allowing you to push relevant creatives for quizzes (simple survey offers). With the right creative, this source shows a high conversion rate. You can get materials for any GEO at AltairLabs;
  • InApp traffic – suitable for those who know how to work with applications. A great option would be to create a white app with market analysis, investment breakdown, or even just an article with advice on fund placement, and then push traffic from it to the target offer;
  • Spam – should only be used with a well-thought-out approach. Otherwise, the conversion rate will again be close to zero.
