I think any business (pandemic or no pandemic) will have relatively the same principles of operating. I suggest focusing on equipping yourself with entrepreneurial skills and qualities before you venture into it.
People tend to sensationalize the idea of starting your own business–but there's a lot of nuance to it. It's a learned quality, you're not born with it. The hard reality is we're not all meant to start our own business.
If you want to pursue a business idea you have in mind, start with the basics. You can opt to go to uni and get formal education (i.e., EMBA or MBAs), shadow successful startups, and read up on case studies on what made things work.
Of course, for the risk-takers you can just jump head in without all the aforementioned steps, lol. To each his own.
