markwayne Posted September 28, 2024 Report Posted September 28, 2024 Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue with my website's organic traffic. Over the past few weeks; I've noticed a significant drop in visitors despite not making any major changes to the site or content.🙃 I haven't received any manual penalties; and my SEO strategy (on-page and off-page) has remained consistent. I have checked SEO issues-tricks-tips-and-tools-splunk reference guide but still need advice . Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be due to algorithm updates; or should I be looking for other technical issues?😇 Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you !🙂 Quote
Daniel165 Posted October 30, 2024 Report Posted October 30, 2024 A drop in organic traffic can be concerning, especially without major site changes. Start by checking for recent Google algorithm updates, as they can impact rankings. Look into your site’s loading speed, indexing issues, and any dips on specific pages in analytics. An SEO audit could uncover any hidden issues. Quote bodHOST - Managed Hosting Services | Linux VPS Hosting | 24x7 Support Â
Zostevaner Posted Sunday at 06:42 PM Report Posted Sunday at 06:42 PM I'd double-check your internal linking and crawl errors in Search Console—had a similar drop and found Google wasn’t indexing some key pages anymore because of a broken sitemap. Quote

I had the same issue a while back, and it turned out my internal linking was a mess after a theme update even though I hadn’t changed anything big myself. I also started using Improve Marketing to help me spot hidden SEO issues and missed opportunities—they pointed out my site speed had dropped below what Google liked. Once I fixed that and adjusted some old content, traffic slowly picked up again. Quote
