What traffic source do you prefer for native ads?
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to Belezza's topic in Native Ads
I run an eCommerce store and advertise with native ads mostly on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. They offer robust targeting options, so I can reach my target audience more effectively. Also, people usually access them from their phones. The conversion rates are generally around 60% higher on mobile phones than on desktops, as I read, and it's true in my case. When choosing the right ad network, I want to make sure that the ad network has a large reach and can deliver a significant volume of traffic to my website. Also that it offers targeting options that are relevant to eCommerce. And lastly, the ad network needs to have a good reputation in terms of transparency, performance, and customer service. -
What is a good business to get into?
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to Fisher Tow's topic in General Chat
I can't disagree. The key is spotting the niche way before it gets saturated. -
Patience. There are no shortcuts when it comes to SEO success. Avoid unethical tactics or outdated methods, and roll up your sleeves instead of looking for quick fixes. For example, we agree that off-site SEO is also essential. Content marketing, link building, SMM, guest posting. Try using PBNs and see what happens. The same goes for link farms. This won't make your website stand out from competitors by being seen as more relevant. Or, say you work for a B2B agency and you've just got a new client. There is no magic formula that works for everyone. You have to learn everything about your client - their average conversion rate, current content marketing strategy, potential keyword cannibalization issues, the list is miles long. A systematic approach, while being far from the easiest one, is for sure the most effective and will give the best results in the long run. Take a look at how things can be done, SEO behind the scenes, all the fine details, and the steps that cannot be skipped. And there's the key to success in SEO - knowledge, hard work, no shortcuts, quality over quantity.

LinkedIn seems to get less attention than other social media, but actually, it is quite popular among many types of businesses as a platform of choice. I cannot even count how many times I saw people starting a small business and going straight to TikTok and Instagram because of the number of users, without doing any research on their target audience. I would seriously recommend getting familiar with LinkedIn marketing and keeping it in mind.

Increasing do-follow backlinks technique
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to seojesica's topic in SEO
First, make sure that your website and content are high-quality and relevant to your target audience. You can start by guest posting on reputable websites in your industry, or reach out to website owners and offer to write a guest post for them. You can also submit your website to directories and review sites, or run social media campaigns that promote your website and generate links back to it. On social media, you can promote your content but also build relationships with other bloggers and website owners. By doing these things, you'll not only increase your visibility online but also increase the number of backlinks pointing back to your site. Also, you can use tools like Ahrefs to find high-quality links that you may be able to get links from yourself. -
There are fans of bbq on the grill?
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to komarOFF's topic in General Chat
Now you got me all hungry, it's my favorite! Even a grilled flip-flop, dipped in some fine bbq sauce would still taste like heaven! -
Well, it depends on a variety of factors. Paid traffic can be very effective for lead generation, but it can also be expensive. Referral traffic is generally less expensive and more targeted, but it can also be less reliable. The best way to determine which type of traffic is more potential for lead generation is to do a trial with each type and see which generates the most leads.

I try my best, but I have to say it's not always that easy for me. We all know that we should "eat healthy food, have enough sleep, exercise", but most of the time I manage to do two out of three somehow.

You can try one of these websites, and perhaps use Duolingo for extra practice. Good luck!

In my case, it's necessary to keep track of daily expenses. The next step is setting a saving goal. And that's when "hello, discounts" season begins!

1. Track your monthly spending – and do it rigorously for at least 3 months. 1.1 After you've tracked your spending, break it down into sections (necessities, bills and utility, etc) and identify which ones you can cut down. 1.2 Put a cap/maximum budget for each section and be ruthless about it. ^ Basic personal finance in a nutshell. 2. Quality > Brand. I was once trapped under the false notion that known brands = high quality. Knockoffs can be pretty solid too. This is not to say that you purchase the cheapest item–but choose the one in the pricepoint you can afford that has the highest quality. 2.1 Read testimonials and really research about any item that will be used long-term (gadgets, furniture, etc) but if you can apply this mindset to smaller buys (laundry detergent, cooking oil, etc) then your expenses will be much more predictable each month. 3. Have a different bank account for everything. This has helped my mentality immensely. When I get my salary–I transfer it to different banks before I do anything. Helps to be organized. 4. Earn money off the side. More often than not, your main income is not enough to satiate your wants to a level where you feel happy and fulfilled. My side hustle was dropshipping–but just about anything you can do in your free time that earns extra $$$ is more than enough. Trust me, it adds up.

Just wanted to mention that I stumbled onto this site that offers really solid affiliate marketing articles. Also, I'd like to emphasize the importance of contracts. Make sure you understand all the terminologies before you sign anything. The most important bit is the actual commission you'll be getting per sale. With contracts becoming more complex (like smart contracts)–you have to be more keen when you get into any arrangement.

How do free online games earn money?
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to Ronald Ray's topic in General Chat
Solid game recommendations! I'm only familiar with Qureka, but I'll give everything else a chance. If you're into crypto-earning gamins, I recommend this game called Wizardia–pretty sick gameplay and money-earning potential if you're keen on MMORPGs and NFTs! -
Assuming that the business has any form of online presence–then the obvious answer is yes. I work with social media agencies and the main way we improve both our online presence and our conversion from audience to client is through masterful optimization of our SEO. We make sure that the blog posts that we pump out are informational and in-depth enough to garner organic readers. Our social media platforms, albeit riddled with nofollow links, are also a huge funnel towards our site. Plus, we have killer proposals that close out deals quite nicely when paired with our socmed, SEO, and marketing efforts.

When someone clicks on an affiliate link, their browser is redirected to the merchant's site. If they make a purchase, the affiliate network tracking software records that transaction and then pays the affiliate a commission (generally a percentage of the sale or depending on their contract that's usually specialized using an app or a legal body). Affiliate networks act as middlemen between merchants and affiliates. They provide tracking software and payment processing, as well as other services like fraud protection and customer service. This removes much of the hassle for both merchants and affiliates, making it easier for them to find each other and do business together.

For me here are a few things that helped - BTW I've been working from home for the past 2 years and was really shocked that I'll be in this situation cause I love going to the office. 1. Make a list of the reasons why you want to work hard. Maybe you want to get a promotion, earn more money, or simply be successful in your career. Write down as many reasons as you can think of and refer to this list when you need a boost of motivation. 2. Set realistic goals and make a plan of action for how you're going to achieve them. Having specific goals gives you something to focus on and makes the task at hand feel less daunting. 3. Find someone who is supportive and agrees with your goals who can act as your mentor or a buddy – someone who will hold you accountable and help keep you on track. 4. If let's say you've working from home and you're feeling burned out, try dressing up for work or upgrade your working station. Make your workspace as inspiring and comfortable as possible – this will help you feel more motivated and productive. I started with a piece of furniture - from my dining chair to a gaming chair, then my dining table to an actual office desk, and then a monitor. Find ways that will make you feel like you're going to work out of home. 5. Most importantly, it shouldn't just be work work work, take breaks throughout the day, but make sure they are productive breaks – not just time spent watching TV or browsing the internet.

the best ways to grow your business during quarantine
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to a topic in General Chat
This pandemic has, more than ever, increased the valuation of "virtual real estate". We're in an era where everyone is practically glued to their phones, laptops, and desktops–so the smartest thing you could ever do right now is get a piece of that traffic. Build a website and build it good. Get the lurkers and lookers hooked to your service or product while the demand is still high. When the surge of online businesses appeared, I wanted to dig in with all the action. I started by reading guides (like this one) about what is dropshipping, because that felt like the most applicable business model–what with the surge of e-commerce stores popping left and right. Try to utilize all social media platforms, get the word out, and set your foot in the rising tides; this new era is a raging rapid, for sure! -
This is basically affiliate marketing in a nutshell. You get paid a commission for being an "affiliate" when you refer a buyer to the store/shop/service. Website cookies play a big part in this. When a consumer buys something from X store within 24 hours of clicking your link, you get paid the moolah for your referral! :)

What is your main area of interest ?
whatsthatsupposedtomean replied to Daniel's topic in General Chat
I've been running multiple e-commerce businesses for the past few years but nothing has fascinated me more than something called sales automation. As a former sales representative and a chat support specialist, I understand how hard it is to reach your customers and tell them how to reach you. Which is why email is one of my most favourite modes of communication. It's fast, simple, and easy to get by (as long as you have all the right parameters in place). The only struggle is boomers/non-tech savvy customers, but they only occupy a small amount of the population so the gains outweigh the losses. This is especially true when I'm trying to sell, what people would consider, oddly specific items. One of them was mid century furniture (looks like these products). In order to make sure I'm casting my net as wide as a I possibly could, I use sales automation to my advantage and create a very specific avatar (i.e. customer profile) and send out automated ad campaigns and email outreach to secure a narrow sales funnel. Works like a charm! -
wait. this is legit such a funny find lol. You learn something every single day!

Affiliate marketing is also misinterpreted as easy money. Spoiler alert: it ain't lol. You have to have a good platform that has a relatively large population of people with buyer's intent. If you're just pasting your links and spreading it in a willy-nilly manner, you won't net real value. If you know affiliate marketing, you'd already know that having 2-3 sales is basically nothing...
